Philip Schwarz, based in Stockholm, leads the Machinery and Industrial Technology Practice in Europe. He is passionate about helping clients manage change and draws on relevant leadership experience across multiple industries and corporate structures, including joint stock, family run, and private equity.

Before coming to Egon Zehnder, Philip has held multiple leadership positions with ABB, Sulzer and as CEO of the drives manufacturer Emotron. In addition, he has held CEO positions at Kellfri, an online farming equipment supplier, and at a company specialized in packaging equipment and supplies.
Philip earned an MBA at the Lund University School of Economics and Management. He also attended the Managing Global R&D and Innovation (IMOT) program of Chalmers University of Technology, in Gothenburg. Philip is the father and stepfather to five children.
